India vs South Africa T20I Series: Team Announced: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa starting on November 8 in Durban. Ahead of this announcement, the cricket board was faced with some tough decisions regarding player selection, especially with three key players out due to injury.

One notable absence is Mayank Yadav, the promising fast bowler who made waves during IPL 2024 with his impressive pace. Despite making his international debut for India against Bangladesh, Yadav was ruled out of the South Africa series due to injury. BCCI confirmed that Mayank Yadav and Shivam Dubey were not available for selection due to injury issues.

Without the services of Yadav and Dubey, Suryakumar Yadav will take charge of the T20 team. Dubey, who rose to prominence in the IPL as well, has shown potential as India’s future all-rounder, but he will miss this series.

After improving his game with Rajasthan Royals during IPL 2024, he will not travel to South Africa. “Ryan Parag is unavailable for selection and is currently at the BCCI Center of Excellence for long-term rehabilitation of his chronic right shoulder injury,” the BCCI said. India squad for South Africa T20 series: Suryakumar Yadav (captain) Abhishek Sharma Sanju Samson (wicket keeper) Rinku Singh Tilak Verma Jitesh Sharma (wicket keeper) Hardik Pandya Axar Patel Ramandeep Singh Varun Chakraborty Ravi Bishnoi Arshadeep Singh Vijay Dey Avesh Khanesh.
