Ingrediants

  • Raw mango: 500 grams
  • Date: 7 to 8
  • Sugar: 1 cup
  • Roasted cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Prepare the mangoes: First wash and dry the mangoes well. Grate the mango fruit and put the grated mango pulp in the pan.

Cook the mixture: Add sugar, half a cup of water, salt and pepper to the mango pulp. Cover the pan and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.

Add spices: When it starts boiling, add ginger powder, red chili powder, roasted cumin seeds and chopped dates. Mix everything well.
